Enhance Edge conducts online tutoring sessions on Zoom, Classin, and VooV. These platforms allow us to provide interactive and engaging sessions, complete with video, audio, screen sharing, and other useful features to enhance the learning experience.

To participate in Enhance Edge's online tutoring sessions, you will need a reliable internet connection, a computer or tablet with a webcam and microphone, and the necessary software (Zoom, Classin, or VooV) installed on your device. We recommend using a headset for optimal audio quality.

Enhance Edge 24-hour Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy

At Enhance Edge, we are dedicated to providing our students with the highest quality online tutoring services. To ensure the availability of our tutors and maintain a professional and efficient tutoring environment, we have implemented a 24-hour Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy. We kindly ask all clients to review and adhere to this policy carefully.

Cancellation Policy

Clients must notify Enhance Edge of cancellations at least 24 hours before the tutoring session. Cancellations must be made via email to admin@enhanceedge.com or by connecting with us on WeChat or Whats App. Failure to provide 24-hour notice will result in the following:

a. First Instance: Clients will be issued a warning.

b. Second Instance: Clients will be charged 50% of the session fee.

c. Third and Subsequent Instances: Clients will be charged the full session fee.

Rescheduling Policy

If a client needs to reschedule a tutoring session, they must also provide at least 24 hours’ notice before the session. Rescheduling requests can be mailed to admin@enhanceedge.com or by connecting with us on WeChat or Whats App. If the rescheduling request is made within the 24-hour window, the following fees apply:

a. First Instance: Clients will be issued a warning.

b. Second Instance: Clients will be charged 25% of the session fee.

c. Third and Subsequent Instances: Clients will be charged 50% of the session fee.

Late Arrivals

If a client arrives late to a tutoring session, the session will end at the scheduled time. Clients will be charged for the entire session, regardless of the time spent. Tutors are not obligated to extend the session to accommodate late arrivals.

No-show Policy

If a client does not show up for a scheduled tutoring session and fails to provide any notification, they will be considered a "no-show" and will be charged the full session fee.

Exceptions

We understand that unforeseen circumstances may arise. Exceptions to the 24-hour Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy may be made at the discretion of Enhance Edge management on a case-by-case basis. Please get in touch with us immediately to discuss any such situations.

By booking a tutoring session with Enhance Edge, clients agree to abide by this 24-hour Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation and look forward to working with you to achieve your educational goals.

If your become aware that your child will misses a class or arrive late, please contact us to discuss the options in advance so that we discuss options to make up for a missed class. We will do our best to accommodate your child's needs and ensure they receive the support they require. However, if there is insufficient or no advance intimation received by us, the standard policies and exceptions are as follows.

Yes, Enhance Edge believes in personalized instruction and tailors teaching methods to each student's abilities and needs. For advanced students, we can provide more challenging material to ensure they continue to grow and develop their skills.

Enhance Edge uses a variety of textbooks and materials to supplement instruction, depending on the subject and the student's needs. We will provide information about any specific materials or resources that your child should have or review prior to attending the regular sessions.

Enhance Edge caters to both advanced and struggling students. We address learning gaps for struggling students, helping them catch up and excel. For advanced students, our instructors work to expand their math skills and help them achieve their greatest potential.

Students who consistently attend Enhance Edge's learning sessions enjoy a transformative learning experience and make significant progress in the classroom. Our methods have been proven to improve student performance on standards-based tests in 20 sessions or fewer.

The duration of your child's attendance at Enhance Edge depends on their individual needs, learning goals, and progress rate. To ensure the most effective learning experience, we recommend discussing your child's requirements with our educational experts, who will help tailor a program suited to their unique needs and aspirations.

Enhance Edge does assign homework to students as a way to reinforce the concepts learned during the tutoring sessions. However, we aim to strike a balance between providing meaningful practice and not overwhelming students with excessive work.

Enhance Edge's advanced programs are designed for students in grades 6-9. Depending on their grade and abilities, students may be required to complete an online assessment test to determine their appropriate class level. If you have a highly advanced and motivated student in grade 4, please contact us to discuss the possibility of joining our advanced classes early.
